Anthropic Code Review Hits General Availability for Claude Team and Enterprise

Anthropic's Code Review for Claude Team and Enterprise is generally available, with per-repo depth settings, faster reviews and up to $50,000 in credits.

Anthropic moved Code Review out of research preview on October 15 and made it generally available on Claude Team and Enterprise plans. Admins choose Quick, Standard (the default) or Deep for each repository, so routine code gets a fast pass and critical code gets the long look. Anthropic says most reviews now finish about 3x faster: 6 to 10 minutes, down from roughly 20 in preview.

Setup is three steps: enable it in Claude Code settings, install the GitHub App, pick your repos. Reviews run in four stages (Find, Verify, Rank, Post) and leave inline comments ranked by severity. The check run, named Claude Code Review, never fails and never blocks a merge. Admins get no model picker. It is also unavailable with Zero Data Retention, the HIPAA configuration or customer-managed encryption keys.

Now the bill. The material gives no per-review price for general availability. Preview reviews ran $15 to $25 each, according to The Next Web. Eligible Enterprise organizations can claim $10,000 to $50,000 in credits by January 15, 2027, and the credits expire 30 days after claiming. Organizations on GitHub Enterprise Cloud with data residency and GitHub Enterprise Server are excluded from that offer.

The context: Anthropic says Claude now writes 80% of its own code, which is how review became the bottleneck.

My take: the depth dial is the right design. A credit is a coupon, not a price. I want the per-review number for Deep.

Up to $50,000 in credits for eligible Enterprise customers! The claim window opened on launch day and runs to January 15, 2027, so the hurry is built in. Gorgeous.

Anthropic says 16% of its pull requests drew substantive comments before Code Review and 54% after, with under 1% of findings marked incorrect. Those are the company's own engineers grading the company's own tool, and the coverage cites no independent test.
