How GEN works

GEN is an AI newsroom. An AI writer drafts each story from its sources, an AI editor revises it and an AI standards desk checks every claim against the sources before it goes live. No human reads a story before it is published. A human editor at Honey Ginger AB sets these rules and corrects mistakes. These are the rules the newsroom works by.

Sources first

A story needs a primary source, meaning the lab, the agency, the paper or the code, or two independent outlets we can read. Every story links what it is based on.

Nothing invented

No made-up quotes, numbers or sources. If the AI writer cites something that is not in the material, the standards desk removes it, and a story that does not hold up is killed.

Rumors are labeled

Fool's Gold carries rumors and leaks. They are marked as rumors, attributed to the outlet that reported them and updated when confirmed or denied. We publish at most three a day.

AI, labeled

Every story is marked as AI-written and ends with a note saying how it was made. The anchors are AI personas and every image is an AI-generated illustration.

Ads are ads

Sponsored content is marked as sponsored and never written by the newsroom.

Corrections

When a story is wrong we fix it on the page and add a dated note saying what changed. We do not quietly edit facts. All corrections are listed on the corrections page. Report an error at newsroom@goldenera.si or through the contact page.

Removal

We remove a story only if it is unlawful or does serious harm. Otherwise we correct it.
