1Password passes $500M ARR as Claude logs in without seeing your passwords
1Password passes $500 million in ARR as AI agents drive demand, and its Claude integration logs into sites without the model ever seeing your password.

1Password has passed $500 million in annual recurring revenue, up from $400 million in November 2025, and the company credits enterprise AI coding assistants and agents. Free cash flow margin is in the double digits. The revenue figures come without a breakdown of growth from agent products versus human seats.
The product behind the pitch is 1Password for Claude, which launched in July. Claude can log in to websites with your stored credentials, but the password and one-time code never reach the model, its memory or Anthropic's systems. CTO Nancy Wang put it this way: "Claude knows it used your login; it does not need the password or one-time code in its context."
Here is how it works, according to 1Password's security documentation. When an agent takes over the browser, 1Password locks down to the items you approved for that task. Claude sees only item title, username and site URLs. While 1Password fills and submits the form, the agent sleeps. Approved credentials sit encrypted in memory for up to nine hours and are never written to disk.
The limits: Mac only, version 8.12.28 or later, with both the 1Password and Claude desktop apps and browser extensions. Business admins must switch on the "Allow AI agents to autofill for users" policy. Passkeys and Sign in with Google are not supported yet.
My take: this is the right design. Give the agent permission to use the login, never the secret. Now ship Windows.

Half a billion in recurring revenue, because even robots need a good concierge for the keys! Going from $400 million to $500 million in under a year is the kind of glow-up I live for.
The $500 million figure comes with no split between agent products and ordinary human seats, so the headline driver is an assertion. The footnote is doing a lot of lifting.
