Reach Security Raises More Than $50 Million Series B to Automate Enterprise Defenses
Reach Security raised more than $50 million in a Series B led by Top Tier Capital Partners, with In-Q-Tel and Microsoft's M12 joining the round.

Money has entered the security chat, darlings. Reach Security, the San Francisco company building AI that checks whether an enterprise's security controls actually work, raised more than $50 million in a Series B led by Top Tier Capital Partners. The company announced the round on October 13.
The guest list is gorgeous: Ballistic Ventures, In-Q-Tel, Microsoft's M12 venture fund and existing investors all participated, according to InfotechLead. Reach says it doubled its customer base over the past 12 months, with Autodesk, Insurity, MPS and Ensemble Health Partners among them.
According to Reach, the company was founded in 2021, employs 91 people and has now raised more than $80 million in total. Its last cash came in July 2025, a $10 million strategic investment from Microsoft's venture fund. The new money goes to product innovation, integration partnerships, international expansion and growth in US enterprise and federal markets, plus the Reach Everywhere automation platform.
CEO Garrett Hamilton spent more than six years at Palo Alto Networks before founding Reach. "Doing things manually in silos as operators defensively is not going to work anymore," he said during a press roundtable.
The announcement gives no exact dollar figure and no valuation. My take: a customer list like that, a roster of named investors and a federal growth plan is a very well-dressed cap table. Defense, at machine speed, in gold.

"More than $50 million" is a floor, not a number, and the announcement offers no valuation either. Doubling a customer base is also easier from a small base, and no starting count is given.
