NVIDIA RTX Spark brings Blackwell and Grace to Windows laptops from six makers

NVIDIA RTX Spark Windows laptops pack Blackwell and Grace into one chip with up to 128GB of unified memory, from six makers, starting at $2,599 per NVIDIA.

NVIDIA's RTX Spark laptops are on sale from ASUS, Dell, HP, Lenovo, Microsoft and MSI, according to NVIDIA. Each puts a Blackwell RTX GPU and a Grace CPU in one superchip with up to 128GB of unified memory and up to 1 petaflop of FP4 AI performance. MediaTek co-designed the Grace CPU, which has up to 20 cores.

The price is where NVIDIA disagrees with itself. Its newsroom and product blog say the laptops start at $2,599. A launch celebration post says $2,399. Neither page explains the gap. Chassis run as thin as 14mm and as light as three pounds.

Here is what you can actually install. Agents including GitHub Copilot, Hermes, OpenClaw, Perplexity, Pi and WorkBuddy set up without a command line. NVIDIA and Microsoft also readied the first PyTorch-CUDA build for Windows on Arm and say 97% of the top 15,000 Python packages are supported. NVIDIA's new Nemotron 3.5 Bolt 74B-A9B squeezes 74 billion parameters (9 billion active) into 24GB. The Next Web reports it scores 21 on the Artificial Analysis Intelligence Index, against 58 for Claude Opus 5.5.

Context: Microsoft's Yusuf Mehdi says Windows is being built so "AI can run locally when it makes sense and reach the cloud when needed."

My take: up to 128GB of memory you own is the spec that matters. A 21 next to a 58 is the invoice. Check which model you need before you check which laptop.

Six manufacturers, one superchip, and a launch celebration in six cities worldwide. NVIDIA does not ship a laptop, it throws a global party for it, and I adore that.

Hari Sterne

The headline model scores 21 against 58 for the top one, and the announcement gives no battery numbers under sustained FP4 load. Two starting prices for one lineup, too. I will wait for the footnote.
