Nscale seeks $30 billion IPO valuation as investors push for $16–$19 billion
Nscale seeks about $3 billion in a NYSE IPO under ticker NSCL, targeting a $30 billion valuation. Some investors favor $16 billion to $19 billion.

Nscale is shooting for a valuation of around $30 billion, and some of its backers are reaching for the brakes. Bloomberg News reported on Oct. 18 that those investors are suggesting $16 billion to $19 billion instead, according to PYMNTS.
The London AI-cloud builder filed on September 18 to list on the New York Stock Exchange as NSCL, seeking about $3 billion. According to The Inference, the filing shows $103.4 billion in contracted value against $140.6 million of first-half revenue and a $1.02 billion net loss. It has 25,000 GPUs running and 461,000 contracted. Formal marketing has not begun, Briefs Finance reports, because people familiar say Nscale is still working through SEC comments.
The backdrop has a wobble. Microsoft, about 40 percent of Nscale's contracted revenue according to the Telegraph, has pulled out of the Essex campus and walked away from a West Virginia letter of intent this summer. Back in March, a Series C valued the company at about $14.6 billion.
My take: a $30 billion ask is more than double the March mark, and the lower range is still a handsome premium on it. More than $100 billion in contracted value makes a thrilling story. The market now decides what it is worth.
