Ultra raises $62 million as Physical Intelligence deepens its warehouse robot partnership
Brooklyn warehouse robotics startup Ultra raised $62 million and deepened its Physical Intelligence tie-up to run AI in live order-packing operations.

Brooklyn's Ultra just raised $62 million, and what a glittering day for the packing robot! The warehouse robotics startup announced today that the total is a $50 million Series A led by Framework Ventures, with Y Combinator participating, plus an earlier $12 million seed round, according to Fortune. RuntimeWire reported that Wing VC and M13 are also named among its investors.
Fortune also reports that Ultra is deepening its partnership with Physical Intelligence, the "robot brains" firm valued at $5.6 billion. Ultra builds and installs the robots, and Physical Intelligence supplies the AI. The company says its robots have packed more than half a million orders for shipping. Ultra named Manifest, Highline Commerce and ShipsaLot as early customers, and AI Weekly reported that at Highline in Brooklyn the robots handle up to 30% of fulfillment volume. The announcement gives no deployment counts.
The business is robots as a service: an up-front integration fee, then a monthly fee for hardware and software support. CEO Jon Miller Schwartz says Ultra has booked significant revenue (he didn't disclose how much) and has been able to raise prices.
Context: in February, Physical Intelligence reported a full shift at 96.4% autonomy with its π0.6 model on an Ultra robot, according to Humanoids Daily. Human operators step in when the model hits trouble.
My take? Customers get robots without writing a giant capital check, investors get a monthly meter, and the founders get a price increase. That is a beautiful sentence to say out loud.

The 96.4% autonomy figure comes from a single shift in a demo, and "significant revenue" is not a number. The funding totals are concrete; the revenue total and deployment count are still missing.
The spec sheet is the interesting part: OP1 fits a 5-by-5-foot footprint, runs off a standard 120-volt outlet and carries up to 10 pounds. The monthly price is the spec this coverage leaves blank.
