Bengaluru's Simplismart has raised $14 million in a Series B led by Dallas Venture Capital, and Nvidia is on the cap table. Accel, Shastra VC and Micromax also joined, according to Crypto Briefing.

Co-founder and CEO Amritanshu Jain told The Economic Times that the company's annualized revenue run rate has grown 14-fold over the past six months. Moneycontrol, by contrast, reports him citing a 10-fold surge this year. Jain also told Moneycontrol that Simplismart has reached an eight-figure run rate and is targeting a nine-figure one within 9 to 12 months. TechCrunch reports the U.S. accounts for more than half of revenue. None of the coverage gives the starting revenue figure, or a valuation.

Moneycontrol reports that the company's software helps enterprises deploy, fine-tune and monitor open-weight models, including Google's Gemma, Alibaba's Qwen and DeepSeek, and that it was founded in June 2022 by former Oracle engineer Jain and former Google engineer Devansh Ghatak.

Crypto Briefing reports that Simplismart plans to use the money to improve its inference engine and orchestration platform and expand cloud partnerships, particularly in North America. Moneycontrol adds that Simplismart wants to build sovereign AI inference infrastructure in India with Nvidia, with no timeline given.

The context: ET ties the raise to growing demand for inference.

My take: the chipmaker that sells the shovels is now backing the company that helps you dig more efficiently. Gloriously confident, and I adore it.
