# China inaugurates National Data Group, its 100th central state-owned enterprise

China National Data Group Co., Ltd. was inaugurated Tuesday, October 20, at a ceremony in Xiongan New Area, Hebei Province, according to Xinhua. It is a state-owned enterprise directly administered by the central government, and it brings that club to exactly 100 members.

The group is headquartered in Xiongan, about 100 km southwest of Beijing, and is tasked with developing and using data resources.
