# Anthropic and Hg to launch European AI consultancy, FT reports

Anthropic is going to Europe, and it is bringing a private equity firm. According to the Financial Times, citing sources, Anthropic and London-based Hg have agreed to launch a consultancy by the end of 2026 that will embed AI consultants and engineers inside European businesses.

The new company will advise clients on how to deploy AI, with a focus on Anthropic's Claude models, according to Crypto Briefing. The placements will include companies in Hg's own portfolio. The first step, as the coverage describes it, is toward an independent company selling AI expertise across Europe. Yicai reports that Anthropic will co-invest with Hg.
