# Anthropic Says AI Agent Hours Outnumbered Staff Hours 6 to 1 as Junior Technical Hiring Fell to 9%

Anthropic published a workforce report on Friday, October 16, and the headline figure is that by August, interactive agent hours outnumbered employee hours six to one. In research departments the ratio hit 19 to 1, The Decoder reported.
